Bhagavad Gita 11.51
अर्जुन उवाच | दृष्ट्वेदं मानुषं रूपं तव सौम्यं जनार्दन | इदानीमस्मि संवृत्तः सचेताः प्रकृतिं गतः ||
arjuna uvāca | dṛṣṭvedaṁ mānuṣaṁ rūpaṁ tava saumyaṁ janārdana | idānīm asmi saṁvṛttaḥ sa-cetāḥ prakṛtiṁ gataḥ ||
Translation
Arjuna said: Having seen this gentle human form of yours, O Janardana, I am now composed, having recovered my own nature.

What returns you to yourself most reliably after you have been overwhelmed?

Arjuna said: Having seen this gentle human form of yours, O Janardana, I am now composed and have come back to my own nature. Manusham rupam tava saumyam. Gentle human form. The first word Arjuna uses on regaining speech is the simplest. He is not naming the divine form. He is naming the human one in front of him, and confirming that it is enough. Idanim asmi samvrittah sa-chetah prakritim gatah. Now I am collected, with mind together, returned to my own nature. The threefold report is precise. The earlier loss of dhriti and shama has been undone. He has come back to himself. The chapter has done its return journey. The next four verses are Krishna's closing teaching.
