Bhagavad Gita 14.24
समदुःखसुखः स्वस्थः समलोष्टाश्मकाञ्चनः । तुल्यप्रियाप्रियो धीरस्तुल्यनिन्दात्मसंस्तुतिः ॥ २४ ॥
sama-duḥkha-sukhaḥ sva-sthaḥ sama-loṣṭāśma-kāñcanaḥ | tulya-priyāpriyo dhīras tulya-nindātma-saṁstutiḥ ||24||
Translation
Equal in pain and pleasure, self-contained, regarding clod, stone, and gold as the same, equal toward the pleasant and the unpleasant, firm, equal in blame and praise of himself.

The third mark stacks equalities. He is sama-duhkha-sukha; one weather to him. Sva-stha, planted in himself, not in conditions. To his eye a lump of dirt, a stone, and gold weigh the same. The pleasant and the unpleasant do not have different statuses. Blame of him and praise of him receive the same hearing. None of this is forced indifference; it is the natural consequence of having stopped trading with the gunas. The list reads like a hard standard, but as a description of someone who has crossed it is simply accurate. The seeker uses it as a mirror.
