Bhagavad Gita 2.54
अर्जुन उवाच । स्थितप्रज्ञस्य का भाषा समाधिस्थस्य केशव । स्थितधीः किं प्रभाषेत किमासीत व्रजेत किम् ॥
arjuna uvāca | sthita-prajñasya kā bhāṣā samādhi-sthasya keśava | sthita-dhīḥ kiṃ prabhāṣeta kim āsīta vrajeta kim ||
Translation
Arjuna said: O Keshava, what is the description of one of steady knowledge, settled in samadhi? How does the steady-minded one speak, how sit, how walk?

Who in your life would you recognize as steady, by the way they speak, sit, and walk?
Read this verse in its chapter: Chapter Two
The student asks for a picture. Not for theory. Kiṃ prabhāṣeta. Kim āsīta. Vrajeta kim. How does he speak. How does he sit. How does he move. The most embodied question in the chapter. Arjuna wants to recognize this person if he meets him. He has been told to become steady; now he wants the description, the way you ask the directions to a person's house before you go there. The next eighteen verses are Krishna's answer to this question. They will describe the sthitaprajna in language deliberately concrete.
