Bhagavad Gita 12.20
ये तु धर्म्यामृतमिदं यथोक्तं पर्युपासते | श्रद्दधाना मत्परमा भक्तास्तेऽतीव मे प्रियाः ||
ye tu dharmyāmṛtam idaṁ yathoktaṁ paryupāsate | śraddadhānā mat-paramā bhaktās te'tīva me priyāḥ ||
Translation
But those who follow this immortal dharma as declared above, with faith, intent on me as supreme, the devotees, are exceedingly dear to me.

The closing benediction. Ye tu dharmyamritam idam yathoktam paryupasate. Those who attend upon this immortal dharma as declared. Shraddadhanah, full of faith. Mat-paramah, intent on me as supreme. Bhaktah, devotees. Te ativa me priyah. They are exceedingly dear to me. The ativa, exceedingly, intensifies the refrain that has run through verses 13 to 19. Each of those verses ended with sa me priyah. Now the final verse raises the pitch. Those who actually walk this path are most dear. The chapter that began with Arjuna's careful question about which path is superior closes with a closing affection. The teacher's heart, which has been hinted at all along, is named plainly. The next chapter will return to metaphysics, but this chapter ends in love.
